OVERVIEW

If you are interested in walking in the footsteps of Jesus, sailing Galilee, climbing Masada, discovering los cities, experiencing fascinating cultures, having fun with new friends and falling in love with the places of the Bible, then this trip is for you!  Andrew and Karen’s goal for this trip is “To introduce the joy of significant, impacting, spiritual pilgrimage to friends and family – and have a blast doing it!”

Andrew and Karen’s love affair with the Middle East started in 2008 when Karen was gifted a trip by her parents. Karen found the experience so life changing that she and Andrew then travelled together to Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Turkey together which also saw Andrew inspired by touring the places of Jesus, the Bible, history and faith.

Andrew is a GP, medical educator and passionate Bible teacher. Karen is a palliative care nurse and devotional author. As well as serving for 15 years in Cornerstone Community and raising awesome kids 😊, they continue to be involved in discipleship, Bible teaching, mentoring, holistic health care, loving Jesus and loving life. They live in Dubbo NSW, attend their local Church of Christ and can’t wait to share their next Middle Eastern adventure with you!

David and Elly Sharp of Wycliffe Bible Translators are joining us as devotional leaders. Dave and Elly joined Wycliffe in 1988 and have spent the past 30 plus years translating scriptures into the Mukulu language for the people of Central Chad. With their work only completed this year, the Mukulu New Testament is hot off the press! This tour is great way for us to celebrate with them the completion of their long-standing service to the people of Chad and their long-standing obedience to the call of God. We know our Father delights in them as we do! (Zeph 3:8). We are excited about the depth their insights will bring to our group.
